And yeah, that's exactly what I said, 5000mAh should be the standard EXCEPT for models purposefully made to be small/thin.

If a phone is MADE to be thin, sure, it can be 7mm or less if they want, but clearly we don't need EVERY phone to have a small battery in the name of slim body, mainly considering that small body is only a trend stuff and don't do anything for most people, in fact there are more people having issues with too slim phones than the opposite, and a bigger battery has obvious pros, MAINLY now that we have more and more power draining stuff, such as 5G who is power hungry and start to come in more and more places.

3.7 aH can be enough for average users, the screen is just 6 on the s22 so shouldn't be such a problem but idk

                    3,700mah? What is this? 2017?

Hmm... If the battery capcity is really 3700 mAh, I think there is gonna be a lot of hate about the s22

Anything under 4xxx range in a top of the line phone is a big fail nowadays...

Higher clock is just gonna use bit more power.

Also if S21 had 865++/870, would be even less reason to buy over s20 than it is today.

Despite downgrades, at least s21 has better cpu than s20.
That would not be case with 870.

Qualcomm and Chinese OEM should stop treating 870 as a new cpu like 808.

You just can't have everything. Or you could, but such phone would be big, heavy and terribly expensive.

Personally, I like the "flagship trio" idea. You get small phone (~6.0", 4000-4200mAh) with 2 cameras (like normal and wide or normal and 2-3x tele) and lesser processor (like 870), middle phone (~6.4", 4500-4700mAh) with more cameras and top SoC (like 888) and big phone (~6.8", 5000-5200mAh) with everything they can throw at you (lots of cameras - normal, wide, periscope lens, top SoC+ (like 888+)). Whole trio should have metal frames, IP rating, OIS on main and tele camera, stereo speakers and wireless charging. SD slot and 3.5 mm jack would be a nice addition.

I think that lineup would satisfy most people.
