As a Galaxy S3 user i can't say i like idea of the 1080p display being sAMOLED, the one on the GS3 is kinda "lazy" when it comes to refresh rate, it is quite niticeble when scrooling through text on a white background.

It's a supersensitive capacitive touchscreen that works with fingernails, gloves, or anything. And you even have the option to turn that feature off. Samsung can only increase the resolution and size of their displays. That's all.

Nokia, themselves, designed the lens, and they, too, made the software algorithm perfectly tuned to the hardware. It's not like they just order hardware stuff from other companies and put them on their phones without customizing and supercharging them. You know what, even the ClearBlack AMOLED display of the Nokia 808 PureView which was supplied by Samsung and even has a much smaller resolution, has better quality than Samsung's SuperAMOLED HD displays. There really is no perfect phone. It all boils down to personal preference. It you want a smartphone that boasts gazillion of features of which most you'll probably never use, Samsung Galaxy caters best. If you want a smartphone that is very easy to use and one which you can show off, then it's the iPhone. But if you want a smartphone that's unique, balanced and is of the best quality, only Nokia Lumia can deliver.

Lumia has Qualcomm technology Krait dual and its las year technology now! Not their technology in matter of fact they have no technology at all even the camera from Carl Ziess and the sensor from Sharp.

[deleted post]OMG, yes it's better but not much! That's why I said screen isn't just about resolution, that GS2's WVGA SAMOLED+ is much better than Sensation's qHD SLCD. And about that Engadget's review, really they said that? From what I read, I found that they said One X's screen is the best and now Droid DNA is the best.

Microsoft has done incredibly well with their new operating systems. The Lumia 920 is the most unique and innovative smartphone released this year. It's packing so many technologies that Samsung and Apple can probably incorporate on their devices for a few more years from now.

the problem with sony and mainly samsung is that they are producing phones with almost same look, same design.
Increasing the screen size, no. Of cores doesn't solve samsung's problem.

Rgb screens are great for sub 720p resolutions but at 1080p they 're a disaster, impractical power hogs that offer no tangible benefits (the limits to/for most people's eyesight is 3xx PPI as far as phones are concerned).
I'm sorry to say but you're requesting for a downgrade, hope Samsung would have the good sense to avoid such recommendations...

I think ios is for age 35-60 yrs ppl...coz its simple and fast..no mass stoage no virus no anti virus...for techy geeks open source android is good..for heavy customization..which they require most..and risky(malware)...still they want it...and WP is in middle coz its tiles seems like some toys..but good os ...simple n fast...
*Android comes from linux pc os..thats y its a bit bulky needs more energry and juice to perform well...but i still think ios is the best option for smartphone if u have enuf money...and nokia is legend is s40 os...hope we c some magic in 920 and 820 selling..

wow! And I thought drug addicts had bigger problems. Clearly these power/core hungry samsung fans have no idea how stupid samsung makes them look. Face it more core addicts, phones can never replace your pc's no matter how many cores samsung throws at you, atleast not in the next thousand years. Focus on more important things around you than acting like kids. Believe me next year is definitely eight or more cores from samsung and what do you do then jump on the wagon as usual ? you ain't never gonna get pc game graphics power if that's your reason for jumping around, really what's wrong with you people?

Just my opinion, but honestly the technology advances are great.. but there is a point where the actual benefit isnt that great.
When you go from iPhone 3GS up to 4S.. its a big difference. Much faster, better battery, better design, better camera, just better - but by a lot.
Going up to the iphone 5 (which I have).. yeah sure its better, lighter, LTE, bit better display, faster a little bit.
Same with android, SGS1 ---> SGS2 is a big difference, much better display, lag basically fixed, faster etc etc
Then up to SGS3, phone is much bigger, battery is a bit better, display is a sideways move (better res for worse screen quality), but its basically a bit better phone etc etc.
I just dont know how many times people will keep putting down >$750 just to get a little bit better screen and a little bit better speed.. especially where they are now at the point of the current operating systems (iOS and Android) where the current hardware easily handles everything.
Doing benchmarks for 1080P stuff is good, but there is no content, and until all the games and apps run in 1080p its going to be the same.
Basically, they keep creating new problems, to give us the answers.. but there is a point where the current stuff isnt really a problem worth solving.
I'd'know.
