OhNom, 20 Sep 2021Like Android, what would be the point of forcing 120Hz when... moreiPhone can decrease the frame rate to 10hz(even 1hz). While 120hz increase the power consumption, 10hz decrease power consumption. This feature has included in iPad Pro released after 2017. When Apple shows this feature in 2017, they had researched for 3 years. So iOS already been ready for supporting 1-120 frame rate and optimized. This has been good for AP energy efficiency and now enables us to just on the 120hz feature.

This feature also need LTPO display(Apple Patent). Galaxy s21 ultra can support this feature according to spec sheet. But the software can’t support this feature. You can check this link.

I used iPhone 6s . Worst battery therefore I updated to iPhone X bit no improvement. This is bill shit . Why can’t apple give a stable battery since they charge double of an initial phone

dude111, 20 Sep 2021I guess it depends on the implementation. From the note 20... moreThe M line panels are reserved for Samsung and Apple, the ones Xiaomi and others are using is E4, the one that Note 20 used was M10 (although I think that's what he said), E4 shouldn't have many differences vs. M11, as the only thing that changes is the backlight material

And yes, iPhone 13 series almost certainly uses M11, there are rumors of E5, but still none of M12, so no more options left

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2021Like it or not android will always kill iOS.What about consistently delivering performance, android has always fallen behind on consistency. Android works amazingly at times and shines, but then it is let down by noticeable bugs, and inconsistent performance.

OhNom, 20 Sep 2021Samsung presented an adaptive screen in Note 20, from 120Hz... moreI guess it depends on the implementation.
From the note 20 to the s21 ultra there was a huge difference, with the s21 being better in every way (albeit, they changed the panel from an M10 to M11). Xiaomi and others are supposed to use the same panel as in the note 20 but there isn't anything relevant about their implementation. Idk about 1+ as Anandtech never published a proper review.

Some people are speculating about apple using the new M11 panel but until analysis comes out is just that: speculation.
