Jolla's Sailfish OS is much more then "just another Linux distro" this is full blood movement of mobile enthusiasts who escaped from "great companies" slavory and now they are dancing and singing their freedom from oppressors. I think Nokia and Intel will look and will regret what they have lost. The MeeGo was a murdered chance, and the lost one for something great. Now this is Jolla times, and Sailfish. Old school system from previous century can go to a museum IMHO.

Give a chance to independent techs to create new innovative OS n ecology. Its million times better than being walled by closed environment of iOS. I really wish Jolla a very good luck! Also waiting to see what Mozilla comes up with, when they release new Firefox OS. Peace!

yes maemo meego tizen are still beta os what about jolla os?still beta os? Many people hope that jolla can be used on symbian os. nokia n9 n950 samsung i9500fraser will get this
Update because meego maemo tizen and jolla is made by intel not linux,(linux is form google android)

And finally we see a baby who has No future, and will never be welcomed in the world. Jolla isnt so "Creative" company like apple nor a giant company like google. It will lag behind even WP.

N9's single core procesor is very laggy, so the UI shown on the video was so ugly as I saw in poor N97's ad. Or maybe they ran it on N950! Stone aged Resistive touchscreen!

hmm.. using android apps makes the sailfish OS an android and even if sailfish OS has its own apps. People will still use android.

One way or another, remember that BB10 OS's multitask, the way the sistem show you the programs running is largely inspired by MeeGo Hamarttan with a touch of WebOS.
