I wait for sailfish phone with qwerty keyboard. Currently using nokia symbian, n95 8gb and I hope that it doesnt break down before sailfish phone with qwerty keyboard comes out. I dislike android/IOS/WP.

it's beautiful. the typography is somewhat like borrowed from windows phone...but a bit smaller.
but overall its beautiful.

Jolla, thats the kind of company I'd like to work for some day. Sure, making money is a motive but not the number one motive. Once you love what you do and you're making enough to make ends meet by doing what you love, becoming a billionaire/millionaire is just a bonus.

This is good news. The sad thing with Meego was Alien Dalvik never materialized. If it had, Meego would have gained traction then even without Nokia backing it up.

I am an advocate of advancing tech as well as a developer so obviously I like all the OS' even with their pros and cons.
If only people saw this like we do Zao, this world would be a better place.

They would have to take a BSD kernel for that, like Apple did to create Mac OSX and IOS.
And to another guy here, what and where is the problem if an OS can use apps from another OS? Blackberry 10 on Playbook is Android apps compatible because they share some UNIX links (QNX is a UNIX based system, and GNU Linux is a little cousin for UNIX). If they can use it for the benefits of both platforms, it is great. If not, well... It would be their problem, not ours.
