I don't mind the design of the back of the phone. I always use a case, so no issues with the glass back. I only wish that they didn't have the curved screen for the Pro. My current Samsung has a curved screen and it's difficult to find a tempered glass screen protector... I had to take my crappy plastic one off, and have ended up scratching up the glass front. Doing edge swipes can be more difficult than it should be.

Curved screen? No Thanks. Samsung building Monitors and Phones doing this lost many potencial buyers. Pixel doing this no sense screens, same way. But for Google it´s not important. Google it´s like a lazy dragon sleepig in the cave of Mountain View.

whats with the recent craze where camera modules are intentionally made to be "in your face" ? I hated it. I prefer cameras to be hidden, or sleek along the design of the camera. These in-your-face camera designs needs to stop. they are ugly, and I bet they would look very dated in a few short months.

I think the two tone back design is nice and I don't mind the camera bump. Interested to see what the specs are and how it reviews.

Last time I was that excited about pixel was pixel 4. It kinda dissapointed me. ...so lets wait for some reviews. I love the design though.

A kind of OP 9 pro / Galaxy s21 ultra with sub chipset and ugly design for 400$ more at this time. Camera has to be stellar or no point for this phone.

I have used several glass backed phones, even right now my phone has a glass back and I have broken NONE of them. That's also without a case. yes, there's the occasional accidental drops but 50 times? what kind of clumsy hands do you have?

They are actually pret... more I owned galaxy note 7 ; note 8 ; S20 pus ; Sony Xperia ; iPhones etc But I always come back to Google Nexus ; now pixels . I had hardware problems with my Samsung phones (note 7 and S20 plus) I also had hadawre problems with my Sony. I never had any problems with my Google pixels ; Nexus or iPhones(even if people have problems with them; they have usually software problems which they can get fixed with an update ; not hardware problems like I had with Samsung and Sony ) . I prefer the pixel phones because I had phones( flagships ) from all the famous brands and I realized that google pixels are my favourite .

They are actually pretty boring. They really are uninspiring. I like that they get constant updates, but my experience with them has been a new bug in each update. The price has been equal to an iPhone, which isn't good. Especially when considering their direct competitors (eg Samsung, LG, Sony) have been offering their phones with certain superior features at a large discount compared to the Pixels.
I think my "favourite" was the Pixel 2XL, but even that wasn't particularly stellar. I've moreso been a fan of the Samsung Note, until they introduced their "Plus" lineup. And since the S10+ I've converted more into liking the direction that Sony has been going. Currently using a OnePlus. Phones have been over-rated lately, it's not as exciting as back in 2011 - 2016, now those were the exciting times!

Something's off with this prototype. It looks small unless the guy holding it is 6'10 or something. If it is this small and still fits that 6.7" display then damn Google, good job.
