Dear GSMArena Team:
Please don't get it rude, but the voting system of yours is obsolete. Since new devices are not rated by their design, performance and features, but mostly because of their "price vs. performance" scores. I think this should also be added.

I randomly checked older phones in the GSM arena site from 2008 till now and the votes are still there. And yes I agree with you. It is highly unlikely that People will go back and vote for older devices.

That's how it should be since the beginning. I'd sugest that at least for smartphone pages there should be two comment sections, one for user opinions and reviews (preferably REAL users posting from the respective device), and one for general discussion (kind of forum for all).

You should't have deleted the votes of older devices. Some of them will never be voted again.

If you care so much about editors opinion on these three characteristics just read the full review. Also giving three 10 to one phone is really viable because some people really like their phones, so it should be allowed. As for doing reviews, I would like to see battery life for playing music. If possible, at 100% and 50% volume and with headphones. Lot of people use their phones as a music player so it should be considered.

I'd suggest expert's ratings as well, some people would prefer seeing expert's opinions than the public's which is at least 60% fanboys.
Also, I think phones that are not released or announced should not have the voting system, or the voting should be reduced to 0 once the device is actually released (or announced). Because people can't possible know what certain chipset a device has if all we have are rumors. Or a design. For example, Galaxy S III design was unknown until it's announcement in May 3. Or Galaxy S IV doesn't even have any pictures at all but people already vote it.
