Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to have an S Pen slot, more reports confirm

    I knew it when S 20 Ultra was introduced that the end might have come to Note Series. But I was a bit taken aback when S Pen was never with it. When the S 21 Ultra iteration came somehow an experimental Pen came with it partially, I knew 'The all-purpose Note Series had put to rest'

    The era of all purpose utility machine is gone

    S 22 Ultra can't be Note!!

          Actually makes a lot of sense considering the S and the Note series has become almost the same except for the physical body. 10 years ago, there was a clear difference between the 2, specially the size. And to be honest, making the s21 ultra spen compatible is obviously a sign that this is happening.

            Am really curious to see if there will be an S pen slot....without an S pen in it so we have to pay for it lol
            I have seen everything in the smartphone industries so sth like that wont really impress me.

              There will be another Note device, a famous leakster is saying. And that Note could bring us a foldable like design. Of course nothing is carved in stone.

                Anonymous, 24 Sep 2021So will they rename the device to S22 Note upcoming year I was having the same thought that one of the versions that has 7 to 7.5 inch screen and marginally lower aspect ratio be called S22Note. Actually with most phone around 6.5 to 6.9 inches, there is not that much of a space for a separate note and S series with S pen in both of them.

                  Note is dead. There is no point to release it alongside S series Ultra model. Those two flagships are merged.

                      s21, s21+, s21u, flip3, fold3, s21fe makes total of 6 solid flagships a year. how about cancelling mid-rangers for good and keep selling old flagships for the next 2 years instead? selling less phone models makes software support much easier so, samsung can provide +1 year software support. In 2023, s21 within a 5 year sw update will be a better deal compared to a 2023 mid-ranger A-serie with 1 year sw update.

I loved it so much that when I moved to the LG G6, I really pondered on buying a 3rd party stylus just to replicate the feeling of the Note but alas! It's just not the same

                          as what mrmobile always say, the S Pen is indispensable to the Note as the mouse is to a computer

                            Well done, Samsung. Now Ultra is just a new name for a Note.
                            Next year please add 3.5 jack or 2nd USB-C port and I will buy three.
