Apple is selling flagship devices but Samsung sells various devices with various price
Samsung never catch apple in flagship segment and camera department (outside that no any android phone can compete with apple in GPU/CPU term)
Plus wait for next year that apple release their own Z flip and see how they make it

It will have the room for the pen, but you still need to pay for the pen. There's no such thing as accessories in new phones, from apple or Samsung!

Samsung actually had issues with 2 launches in the year, and the engineers and designers were under pressure to ensure both perform extremely well (the S is innovative, and the Note is a greatly consolidated iteration). Also, I am guessing the S series sold a lot better (mostly due to lower prices and more variations). Samsung could have solved this issues by merely launching both the S and Note series, Simultaneously, and kept the price difference to a minimum.

Honestly, I never got why both Korean companies had two flagship series at the same time
LG had the G & V series.
Samsung had the Note & S series.
And from both, LG was the worst offender, because after only 2 gens, V series became the same as G series. They were practically clones of itself.
Still, Samsung could have added the S pen to the S series a long time ago, but they loved to make people double dip on their devices.
And seriously, does anyone actually uses that on a smartphone? I still think stylus are better suited for larger screens (tablets,

External materials add more weight than increasing battery capacity while keeping body size.
This is why those phones with more than 207g are all phones wider than 7,5cm and taller than 15,5cm.

If this is the case, the Fold 4 will get an S-Pen slot and let's hope S-Pen support for the outer display. Glad I got the Flip 3 knowing future Folds will be more complete with an S-Pen slot. No point having a Note series any more. Now if Samsung can figure out how to trim the weight by 100 grams. Be a miracle if they can pull that off.
