I have had my iPhone 7 since day one (2016) and still own it and I can still update it to the latest software and guess what, not buggy, no hardware issues, and I have banged that phone quite a bit, on concrete, on metal. Still fast with original battery which does need replacing now after several years. You wanna criticise, at least say something that is correct.

I have done some wifi speed test with 13 pro max, and it is a way better than previous 12 pro max
Can you do test about wifi test, 3g 4g 5g speed test, phone signal coverage, calling quality in poor coverage... I mean real everyday situations not only showing its smaller notch or new color options.

I understand that companies who advertise their products heavily are also at fault. But if you're getting duped to buy a new phone every year then the problem might also lie with the consumer.

They've become like laptops. You really don't need to upgrade every 1 to 3 years. More like 5+ years. But YouTube offers infomercials for them from paid tech tubers. Google wants phones to sell even if they're iPhones so we can use their services and see countless ads.

The 13 is the weakest iPhone upgrade since the 8.
The 14 will correct the last 4 years by bringing back a fingerprint scanner and removing the hideous notch for a punch hole. And no more camera hump. Don't mind the added weight and thickness if you want better battery life.
The problem is once you get the iPhone 14, they'll start talking about the iPhone Flip. Whatever it takes to make you feel bad. You barely get the 14 and then it feels dated 3 days later with iPhone Flip rumors.

It's either samsung, xiaomi, or oneplus for the worldwide market ). Future lacking (3 years software updates and everybody is satisfied) Buggy (lol its already a rule that you don't update until you've read the forums and expensive (plastic s21 anyone? and in my country it's actually not available so people will buy the more expensive pluses and ultra. Xiaomi flagships are cheaper but eew bugs. oneplus is extremely pricey now and has the sd 888 which hogs battery and throttles.

Android pushes technology at affordable prices because that is the only angle they have to survive in this space. They are not doing it because they care about the consumer. They care about their success 1st and foremost.
