They are just blind buyers wanting tech on the cheap, the latter having worse build quality and unstable UI.

I think Samsung pushing ads earnestly from OneUI 2.0 onwards. Ads started appearing on my old A50 after update from 1.0 to 2.0. Ads also appearing in my current phone A52 if not setup properly. In my opinion, Samsung should not push ads at all since their phones are already more premiumly priced than other brands.

While you're at it, get rid of stupid Coronavirus "statistics" in the Weather app as well. It is a weather app, not epidemiological app!

Samsung is very good at manipulating the tech media.
All these tech reviewers talk about ads on Xiaomi, which can all be disabled, yet they fail to mention the ads on OneUi that don't go away unless you setup the phone again, turning off things in hidden menu.

Buy a phone that you can unlock the bootloader & install a custom ROM. Why do you think OEMs lock the bootloader, so that they can show you ads on your own phone you bought with your own money at a higher price even NO NO.

MIUI and EMUI are even bigger bloatware.
But in the end, big or small, bloatware is bloatware no matter how you look at it.

I am on Windows, which isn't much better bloatware wise, but I more and more consider just switching to Linux for those kind of reasons...

when it doesn't show ads for you it doesn't ... moreI have been using Samsung phones since 2014~ i never seen an ad from Samsung in my phone. But some of my family's phones it did showed up ads for example "Galaxy S10 is out now" or something like that in their notifications.
Everytime i set up a phone i make sure to read the checkmars that im agreeing on, the last 2 or 3 are to put ads on the phone. It also asks you if you want Marketing pushed to you in the Galaxy Store and the Game launcher.
