Xiaomis mi 11 lineup can beat this in its sleep. Just need to improve the software. Samsung is no match. And it should stop its racist policies like snapdragon for the rich, exynos for the poor countries at the same price. Why should we accept a lower qualiy smartphone at the same price??

      samsung will get that wrong, it's the base pointless model, all the good stuff is on the super massive pro++++ super duper model. i like the smaller screen personally only i know for that i will get weak cmos, weak soc, no 3,5mm an curved screen edges (i know curved edges are samsungs thing for these phones on all models) so as i said before - it's a pointless phone.

Some phones like the OG Razr used a aluminium body. Even old Android phones before wireless charging used metal. Samsung phones were plastic for the longest before switching to glass with the S6. Look at them now.

I dont remember any of the plastic phones ever being scratched when we had these feature phones the era before touchscreen phones. Also i have had plastic back with Nokia Lumia 830 and in 2 years i used it the plastic back had no scratches on it. There are all types of plastics from soft to hard while you hate it just cause there is some type that scratch easy and set it in all plastics category. Never mind that transparent plastic can fool you to think it's glass also

                Wasting time Samsung.
                Smaller is never best seller.

                S20 = 7 million units
                S20+ = 11 million units
                S20U = 8 million units

                  Anonymous, 02 Oct 2021I doubt 50% will go for tiny 6.1" screen With this screen size, its dimension will be closer to that of the iPhone vanilla/pro variants, which are always selling well. Honestly surprised why there's no midrange android phone with this size, or at least not globally.

                                  We do want better materials on the external parts that you do touch. Plastic is not a better material, it scratches very easy and it may not shatter as easy, but sure it bends easier. Making the phone weaker in the process.

                                      The only compromise is that they pushed the "glass is premium" marketing story and enough people swallowed it and now look down on better materials.
