Anonymous, 02 Oct 2021Lost my marbles? LOL. Cold glass ALWAYS feels better in han... moreWhile people whine a lot about budget phones that also have glass backs that they are low quality on build and everything and then praise to have glass backs on 1000 bucks phones is just funny. Give you the feel of premium. Why dont glass back 200 bucks phone dont give you premium feel if it's with the same glass back ? They cant have wireless charging if they use metal also metal problem is with the antennae lines that make the phone bendable.

With glass back it's easy to fool people with some very low quality and cheap glass used and nobody would make any difference. While the high price also give you the placebo effect of a quality item

And will not get all worn out on edges because you put it 150 times in and out of pocket every day and normally place it on wooden desk. Because the coloring is on the inside. GAMIRSFM, 02 Oct 2021So you want a plastic back on a $1000 phone? 🤷‍♂️He literally said he doesn't want a plastic back. But 99% of people here on GSMArena are constantly raving about plastic backs and how plastics are so much better, entirely ignoring the fact it's on phone that costs almost $1000. I don't want freaking plastic crap on phone that costs so much. I want the premium feel of glass when I hold it naked and if I want I can still put a case on it to protect it. If it's plastic it'll always be just plastic. And while plastic may be more durable for drops, it's WAY less durable for casual wear from wooden desks and pockets where glass doesn't get any marks and scratches at all. What's more common, broken glass from drops or scratches and worn corners from regular daily use?

Seems like OEM's finally see consumer's true desires and they stopped with the ridiculous growing trend.

Good, then I'm one of those who get it first when pre-orders start. Rumoured dimensions of 146x70x7,6mm are perfect for me and battery is for non-addicts good for 2 days of normal usage. Good to see a flagship-device smaller than 6,5 inch and more bricks.
