Anonymous, 02 Oct 2021Still going with widgets argument? Those same widgets that ... moreNever had third party widgets be buggy on Android in 10 years. But yeah with every new iOS update, properly working apps started to be buggy. No such issue on Android.
Buggy thrid party widgets must be a staple on iOS as it is known to release half baked implementation of various features. This is why I will never return back to iOS.
Everything just flies on my premium 120hz Android phones. IOS can't even implement 120hz properly on iPhone even through the they did it properly on ipad OS. Optimization is a myth on iOS.

You can't make this s**t up lol. Yeah, running Android 9 or even 8.1 in year 2021 is totally the best thing ever because Android phone vendors are so lazy they can't be bothered updating your phones beyond 2 years for the most part... Meanwhile iPhone 6s from 2015 (a 6 years old phone) just received latest iOS 15 and will be getting security updates for few more years. Meanwhile most phones that launched with Android 9 stopped receiving updates last year...

        [deleted post]No they don't.
Security experts have confirmed that how because of updates at same time, it's easier to make vulnerabilities and exploits targeting vast number of users. Android being fragmented, these guys don't bother with it as it might affect only fraction of the users.
This is why android is a superior ecosystem

Ive asked 3 apple-user friends but they cant seem to give me the answer that i need. i am genuinely asking for help.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2021iOS UI is perfectly fine and gestures are very natural actu... morei disagree, it looks like you havent tried gestures on Android yet. Android gives you the option to use either the buttons or gestures, whichever you prefer. Getsures in Android is so much more simple specially for basic and most common commands. Apple has created a LOT of other gestures but not for the basic commands.

One example is back command gesture. In android you swipe from right or from left side to go back, and can be used for almost all app. In apple swiping from left can be used to go back to a page in Safari, but not in Youtube (just as an example) where you almost always have to find the button to press when you want to go back to youtube home or to go back to your library.

Those same widgets that randomly decide not to sync and randomly decide to scorch the phone by pegging CPU to 100% and eating entire battery in half an hour? Those same widgets that are always misaligned and can't be resized to align with rest of icons? Yeah, I've used them back on Eclair and they are still as terrible today as they were back then. iOS may got widgets late, but the stock ones are amazing and they align perfectly with rest of icons at any size. It just looks and feels so much better. And the widget stack is awesome. Takes space of 2 rows and I have 5 widgets stacked there in big format.

On Android, only factory stock widgets work well, most of 3rd party from GooglePlay are buggy mess. And same is for iOS.

After updating 15.0.1 phone start getting hang no response by screen and slow response.

to be honest i dont know how apple users can last using appleUX. The extra swipes and clicks you need to do just to activate the device, install an app and almost all gestures are annoying AF (in disguise of extra security). I want to disable all these extra moves but apple wont let me do it. Everytime you access apple website, it asks you for appleid even if you just signed in minutes ago. The fact that i always have to find tutorials online just to do simple tasks is killing the expeience.

one simple example - activating the device double tap or click the power then swipe then face id. why cant i just bring it up to my face and it unlocks?

iOS has been quite buggy since version 12.0, especially on iPads, with side-by-side being broken for months for example.

Done update my iPhone few hours ago. I had to wait until my iPhone fully charged for update. By the time I checked for update, my iPhone was at 19% battery level. No battery drain or bugs so far after the update.
