i find win 11 a load of garbage you cant leave things alone have 4 pc,s wont up grade them,money maker,will try linux,none of the crap you get here,windows defender works when it wants to,at the moment not working,what garbage

    yes, the next generation of windows 11 is good. It is noticeably smoother, the interface is also very nice, it looks like a macbock so I love it. I usually read windows 11 tutorials. I wish you a good day.

      Latest windows update breaks firefox.
      Its just a windows 8 rehash.
      Rubbish dont' upgrade unless you want grief

          Win 11 is a sh*t. Why ? .. First it is lagging to much and i cant even Open file explorer or playing games , Win 11 for Gaming. said Microsoft

                  Great OS. Much better than Mac OS.
                  Windows is the best. Linux is the second. And Mac OS is the worst.

                    safer? maybe, but there is a ton of malware for linux too. in my line of work i cannot afford to take chances so i have to use a good anti-spyware app anyhow. and preferably not using unverified apps or going in the murky corners of the i-net too. not very often, anyhow :) ....
                    more stable? in 5-6 years since i use win10 i had not a single crash caused by the the os. not.a.single.one.
                    good distros? good, professional, distros are not for free. this applies to your "free" claim too.
                    does not spy on you? tell this, for instance, to those who use ubuntu...
                    free? last time i paid for win was more than 10 years ago. after that it was just going from 7 to 10. or moving the old hdd / sdd in a new machine. and anyhow, being cheap when it comes to paying some 100 lousy euros / usd for the os, for years of ulterior use...
                    works out of box? exactly like win, linux distros need a little bit of configuring and customizing. actually a "little" more for those who are not proficient.

                    in the end it boils down to specific needs, requirements, comfort and easy of use, etc. and, let us be honest, mindset. like in "it spies on you" :)

                            Why feed this botnet machine and be controlled by a third party who hates your guts?

                            Install Linux instead and you can do a better job of the Windows 11 layout than Microsoft can.

                                New OS are known to be buggy, unless your laptop is unoperational then I suggest to wait until a more stable build is released
