And you're also ignoring fact Apple is in US where everyone sues everyone for dumbest most petty things. Good luck suing anyone in China that's spamming tons of devices with pretty much zero of any kind of support, be it repair service or software. But people take that for granted that Chinese devices are super cheap and basically disposable as they give you no support what so ever. But that's fine. Also no one draggs some Oppo all over the news. Everyone has a field day when it's Apple on the menu.

Waterresistance or wter proofing.
All the IPXX certification is completely useless.
When your phone gets water damage its waterdamaged and no warrany will help you.
IPXX rating does nothing just increase cost of your phone because whether you have it or no apart the fact you pay more you have nothing extra.
Nowdays every phone can withstand some rain drops and every IPXX certification is done in clean purified water where phone stand still and calm.
So again apart the fact user pays more gets nothing extra.
Unless a manufacturer will add water damage into the warranty claims all IPXX certifications are useless gimmick not worth to have.
Any waterproof case from wish site or alliexpress does same tricks for maybe 2-5 bucks.
IPXX certification cost way more and is excluded in your warranty.
Is the worst feature after notch and a curved screen display phone can have.

IP rating does not grant you a waterproofed phone, but water resistant to some level of conditions. Therefore users cannot prove their phones failed within the advertised conditions therefore warranty doesn't cover it.
