And other phones in Pixel 6 price range rarely have metal frame, IP68 rating and wireless charging, which are also features I want in my next phone.

I want Google to do good, to have massive sales figures. For 4 years, they barely made progress in the hardware department, Now they are finally picking up the pace, I just wanted them to lift themselves even further.

Alright. My comment may have been a bit harsh, but I don't hate Google, I just got my Pixel 5 from my 3a in the past. I actually think Pixel 6 Pro is a good deal at 1050 USD (with flagship performance, battery, cameras; the lot). Even Pixel 6 has great features, even rivalling other companies, but just like Dave2D said, pricing is the no. 1 thing that matters in a phone more than anything else. If Pixel 6 cost just 50 or 60 less dollars, it would've been a great deal, undercutting its competition. For now, you could just settle with a Pixel 5 and get a lot of the same features while saving some money.

And you HAVE to consider a chip that is especially made in house. That is currently the only reason why apple devices cost more to build than a Samsung. The availability of in house chip. So, if you consider this, then the device would cost not less that 450-500 eur to build a working 649 eur phone.

750 USD? The Pixel 6 is a flop. Even at 699 USD, it was too expensive, costing more than equally feature-packed rivals such as Oneplus 9, Xiaomi Mi 11 and Samsung S21 which are half a year old already. Now, even more so with 90 Hz and no Telephoto!
