this 6 pro has the perfect specs for my needs. definitely buying it.

They don't work as oppo/xiaomi, who have quantity over quality. Those produce phones outnumbering Google with cheaper characteristics - which means Google will be not selling good in those regions.
Also, Google doesn't have enough data to improve AI on all regions. So, its phones will have less power in the regions they are not selling.
And lastly, the very well known chip shortage.
Combining all above you can easily understand why the phone is not sold everywhere.

To me Google's camera software is already the best in the Android world, they just need better hardware(which they're getting) to completely destroy Samsung, Vivo, Xiaomi and OPPO.

This price seems pretty good to be true for a pixel but it seems be confirmed by multiple sources. Might this be the year I'll risk the gray market to purchase one? I'm not too concerned about the cameras but I have high expectations about the durability of the visor and the performance/efficiency ratio given the specialized chip.

I prioritise the camera more and the chip wouldn't make a difference to me as I'm currently using a snapdragon 870 phone which is more than powerful enough. Obviously, you have different priorities which I respect. An overall package can be totally different for different people. Anyway, unfortunately, I won't be able to buy a Pixel anyway where I am

Have you not seen the display and battery charging speed of the 11T Pro?
It seems Google putted every effort in the camera department, better camera sensor, OIS, ISP from the Google Tensor and Google camera software is already better than Xiaomi's.
Anyway, you kinda repeated what I've already said, I know the Pixel 6 will have better camera hardware etc, but when I buy a phone, I want the overall package, or I might as well buy a real camera...

Same price as the recently launched Mi11T pro for example (launched at 650 Euro) and that has much weaker cameras (far weaker camera hardware and the software will probably accentuate the differences) and a similar chip. It's definitely a good price if it's real

Nothing impressive, but Google's Tensor chip, new camera sensor and camera algorithm will do their thing, but I'm not buying a phone for just it's cameras.
