This is a downgrade. Hopefully the original op 9t which should release in 2022(just my guess) gets sd 870 or sd 898. And no more 8np uw with 50mp main

So this is basically a SD version of Nord2 with higher rr (90 is still ok tho), and probably better UW, but didn't we have all this way back with the 7T already (2 years back) and a telephoto as well, not to mention the UW had AF!! Only thing they needed to improve on was better camera processing and obv bigger battery but they also cut away features while at it, such a shame!

I hope for the SD870, too. It's fast enough and not that power hungry.
Finally the metal frame is back (watch the antenna lines)!!! In contrast to the 9R and vanilla 9 which have plastic frames. The OnePlus 8T also has got a metal frame and of course the 9 Pro.
For the 9-series OnePlus delivers 3 major Android version upgrades and 4 years of security updates, so for the 9RT, too.

I wish the switch to snapdragon 888 does not pan out. Snapdragon 870 is the better chip - powerful enough but not too powerful that the it drinks the battery juice.
