The only difference now is the backplate is adhered with glue. There's no reason that the backplate could not simply be pressure mounted or clipped to the back of the phone. They want to give the impression of the phone being sealed in concrete to convince stupid people to chuck the phone and get a new one.

Not only do they use small capacity battery but it's also cheap quality and can't last more than 300-400 charge cycles without significant degradation

Last year's flagship feature: 108mp camera.
This year's flagship feature: 120W charging.
Xiaomi is doing a superb job of bringing flagship features to their budget devices.
No other company has the ballzzz to do this.

Hopefully it will retain the triple card slot, headphone jack, IR blaster from the Note 10 Pro and will use either the Dimensity 1200 or the Snapdragon 780. It was ridiculous that the Note 10 Pro didn't have 5G

The phone has to be backed up and taken to service, it is opened and thereby the water resistance is compromised watch I highly value in my phones. Also the spare part may be not available as almost all of my phones repair places do not have anymore, even if the replacement is expensive I don't mind but they just don't have it

And I admit the charging was quite irregular, but I didn't do it all the way to 100 always. It was the excess amount of heat generated that did it

It costed me less than 20$ to my replace redmi note's battery after 3 years at Xiaomi service center. I'm sure most people can afford that.
People have been shitting on fast Charging for years about this yet they don't seem to be that much worse for battery longevity anyway. My Asus even with slow charging feature for 2 years is at 80% battery life. It's all an exaggeration, fast charging is definitely something to have.
