If in reality, for example, the number of times the stabilization is updated per second is very important, if it makes a movement and the stabilizer takes time to correct it, it will be counterproductive, it will have the original movement and the one originated by IOS, I have no idea from other brands, but the Pixel 3's OIS updates to 200Hz

The precision is based on the axes, there is a decent difference in the precision in which they do it, a 2 axis OIS works as a square, a 3 axis works as a hexagon so it can stabilize diagonal movements better than the one of 2 axis could not, I think it also improves the speed, for a 2 axis to "stop" a diagonal movement it must move horizontally and vertically, one of 3 just moves and voila

I also assume that the strength of the magnet is a point and the number of lenses and size of the sensor, but beyond that I do not know if something influences

I hope they don't put a periscope/telephoto zoom on the base K50 but instead put the 108MP camera from the Mi 11 and maybe 2x lossless zoom.

What I do know is that, based on how better it is, I would have paid extra my Poco F2 Pro for having an OIS.
Isn't stuff like reaction time, precision and other also important factors? Or they are not really relevant to OIS quality?

But in terms of Macro, it is the stupidest thing ever to use an Ultra-Wide for taking them.

If there is a sensor you'd want to take Macro with, it is the Telephoto, NOT the Ultra-Wide.

And if you want the technical answer as to why, I've basically already wrote it a lot of times :
              https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-45847p2.php#2159642
              https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-46855.php#2203029

Using a Periscope Telephoto with a good set of lenses to allow for a deep focus range and depth of field control would allow having the Telephoto to also do both Macro and Portrait, and I mean real portrait, not the fake Bokeh one.

If there was 12Mp+ dedicated Macro camera on smartphones, the Ultra-Wide's Macro would look like a toy in comparison.

Why the heck would you need the display to fold along the device?
A device like the Microsoft Surface Duo/Duo 2 but with any of the multiple possible techs to allow both display to meet in the center (a third display and them being flush against each other being the two best solutions) would solve basically all issues.

Many simply don't want foldable phones, regardless how reliable they are and crease or not.
So as usual, Samsung mobile division is taking all the wrong choices they can think of.

But I know there are cheap phones with OIS, I just meant that it increases the amount of phone price decently, for example I don't think it is very far from the real thing, but I don't know the exact price of OIS, Galaxy M22 without OIS could have cost $ 210, Redmi 10X Pro 5G $ 270, and so on, but it's good to see it's hitting the mid-range and it was time for it to do so
