That's two weeks from now and the rumor mill hadn't even heard a peep about it. What is this mysterious phone that Sony successfuly kept under wraps?

They don't even want to try as they know it will lead to further losses for the company.
Sony should stick to manufacturing camera sensors. They are only good for that and nothing else.

What in the world are you cheefing on? When did I mention a burnt motherboard issue or any hardware failure argument? Are you even responding to the right person?

"More people buy Xiaomi unlike your Sony that hardly anyone buys."

Ok, so what? You must be thinking you have an actual argument if that means something. Xiaomi puts out much more phones, many types of phones, and many different price ranges. I would hope they sell more phones than Sony, regardless they both make profit so it doesn't matter.

"The ones who end up buying Sony Xperia flagship are now 😤 frustrated with the phone heating up in normal use."

I have a Sony flagship and there's no heating issue with my phone.

The difference between us is that I can admit that Sony has faults. I don't defend Sony in all articles, I never have said they are perfect. You immediately go on the offensive because you have some sort of tension there.

"Most people can't afford to buy a foldable right now....but Foldable and Rollables are the future."

Most people can't afford to buy 24k gold smartphones, which seems like a better investment than a rollable phone. Nobody has mastered foldable or rollable yet, and other than a small increase in the convenience. It doesn't really mean much to an average user, there is no reason they should get foldable or rollable, pay the extra, just to have a "cool" looking phone with unique features.

"Your Sony can't even come up with a prototype."

Apparently, because Sony isn't interested in entering that market that somehow translates to them not being able to come up with a prototype. Such amazing logic I always love to see from you.

"Heck they can't even optimize their own phones (very few in numbers) properly....good luck optimizing a foldable."

Their phones are perfectly fine with the exception of certain things like camera software and other minor things.

Afcourse you can expect them to master the foldable. Sony on the other hand is largely irrelevant in the market. They can't even get their basic flagships to sell, let alone producing and selling a foldable.

The product has to be the best unlike your Sony that's drops to 60hz automatically because the processor heats up due to lack of proper cooling inside phone.

                            >>> That's like saying any glass sandwich phone can be damaged with a simple drop, that alone is solid proof this form factor and material has a long way to go in terms of durability.

Is your front glass secure when it drops from your hand?
IPhones back glass cracking will cost you 599$ to replace. I don't see you questioning the durability there...??

Plenty of people have used foldables for over a year without any major issues.
Infact there is a YouTuber who demonstrated how durable the Z flip was with rough use.

Besides, people buying the foldables can afford the inner screen replacement if needed.

Lol no. Nobody has mastered foldable devices yet, as none so far has managed to come up with a bendable glass panel that is also durable enough to be used as a surface material without any plastic coating on top of it. If the inner display can be accidentally damaged with a fingernail then that alone is solid proof that this form factor still has a long way to go.
