"Chinese smartphones do not include Google Mobile Services" This statement is incorrect. A lot of models have GMS built-in in their systems, the only thing missing is Google Play Store and all you need to do is installing Play Store from apk file and you'll have full functionality with Google.

previous W series models made sense because they were clamshells only available in China (and with top specs to boot)
But this is just a rebrand plus a minor customization, so not worth it

This is actually a really nice looking phone, I really do like what Samsung has done with this one, unfortunate it's not global
