Xiaomi spams so many cheap models, of course they'll have a lot of units shipped and be high on the chart. Meanwhile Apple which only sells significantly more expensive devices, being at No.2 makes it pretty remarkable. Sure, Xiaomi will overtake them most likely, but these analytics need to be segmented to be meaningful. If we put similarly priced Xiaomi phones against iPhones, I don't think they'd be anywhere close together on charts.
