is there anything I can do? or should I just wait for a notification in setting
In how much time you received the update after getting your laptop ?
PS: I don't want to use other methods like windows 11 installation assistant.

At that time the Realme Book (Core i5) variant was retailing for the price of Core i3 variant. Actual price was set $693 during sale which further dropped down to $600 after applying credit cards discounts.

it was i3 model for that price, i5 was never around 600 price point. unless you got some discount tokens and special offers for banks and cards, but that's not really applicable for the vast majority of customers for whom the price was around 740 USD.

i got unresponsive trackpad!
i was using it at home with a mouse for some time, but today i need to travel, so i didn't bring mouse with me and trackpad is not responding.
it does not respond even if i enter BIOS.
WTF?!

siddheshwar, 17 Nov 2021gooo laptop everThe Realme Book (Intel Core i5) variant last month was a real deal as it was selling as low as $600 in India after all discounts. For that price the laptop is pure weapon in terms of performance, display and built quality.
The more I use it, more I admire the laptop. BBK Electronics have nailed it when it comes to their first ever laptop and every aspect of it better than its competition under same price bracket. It had to do so as the market is quite saturated and they have executed it perfectly.

if yes then what is the G... moreWindows 11 is rolling out in phased manner. I can confirm it has been released from Realme Book (Core i5) variant atleast as I am using it. Ofcourse you can download and update your Realme Book to Windows 11.
Regarding the size, I don't remember. Maybe around 5GB. Why are so concerned about download size? Do you have the Realme Book?
In my country, last month Realme Book (Core i5) variant was the cheapest Intel Evo certified laptop you can get at $600, however now the price has increased. Not only performance which is inherent of Evo laptops but it has built & display quality of a Apple MacBook which retails for $1200 in our country. The keyboard & trackpad is the best you can get for the price.

Realme Book comes with a 65 watts USB-PD wall charger, which is ultra-compact in comparison to other laptop charger. It is in sense a smartphone charger. Like all USB-PD chargers it is a high-voltage/low-current system with below power ratings:
1) 5V, 3A
2) 9V, 3A
3) 12V, 3A
4) 15V, 3A
5) 20V, 3.25A
I value battery longevity and believe 65 watts fast charging is just too much for the included 6,952 mAh battery. It takes just 25 mins flat to charge from 40% to 80% when the laptop is in standby mode. Hence I use Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 Charger which came bundled with my Poco M2 Pro. Power is half at 33 watts and it supports USB-PD. Power rating of this charger:
1) 5V, 3A
2) 9V, 3A
3) 11V, 3A [Non standard]
4) 12, 2.25A
5) 20V, 1.35A
Now it takes 1 hour to charge from 40% to 80% when the laptop is in standby mode with Mi charger. I am pretty happy with that speed keeping battery longevity in mind.
