The design doesn't look that bad. But when compared to s21 ultra this feels like a slight downgrade. But I'm willing to put up with this as long as they keep the battery capacity same and slightly improve the camera and give aggressive pricing

- Increase fragility and make harder to be protected, so it can easier get damaged, so the repair shop can charge you almost price of midrange phone just to replace it.
- increase screen to body %, the value is % compared to flat screen (s6 has 70.9, while S6 edge has 71,7%). And % also increases as screen size increases (s6 edge+ has 75,6%).

Let‘s be real if you bought a Galaxy S22 when it comes out (or after 6 months because then the price is already half, as always with Samsung), it will easily last you 5 years because batteries, SoCs, Displays they all became so good that Upgrades are barely noticeable. The only thing that is visible are the camera Upgrades, and I‘m with you on that, rather use a few good lenses than many bad ones

By 2025 i guess they'll slam a dozen of lenses on the upper back of the phone and still the camera frenzy won't end. I mean this gotta end somewhere. They gotta focus more on AI and other new things. Stop calling more and more lenses as innovation. One good sensor gotta do the job of 12. That's the innovation we need.
