If i didnt buy something becuase someone complains about it i would never own ANYTHING. there is always someone complaining about problems with EVERYTHING. you think sony doesnt here about problems with there tv's?

I agree removing the Mobile Data switch from the Notifications bar is a PITA...
BUT I found that the "Data On-Off" app from the Play store works perfectly just add as a Widget to one of your screens, or to your App Dock, and its FREE ;)

There are many reasons why over a cable update is better than OTA !
1. OTA updates can be sensitive to speed and connection, if you as a user are not careful and attempt an OTA update, but decide to do it in your pocket or purse, that could damage the phone's software. and then the carrier has to hear you complain ?
2. This is a major update, therefore it's probably huge, not everyone has access to a wireless connection, unless you want to max out your Data plan.
3. With the Samsung software, you can backup your phone incase anything goes wrong and recover

damn can anyone please help i need to go back to the stock ics it was awesome never crashed .. in this jelly bean i have less total ram showing up mobile data button gone.. phone vibrates with tone on bugs bugs bugs its getting slow slow. i just want to go back to stock at&t rom from this dont update i didnt like it

Why did they remove the Mobile Data button in notification area? That's not a smart move. I don't want to have my data working all the time. Need to save some battery. Disappointed by this fact in particular.

updated successfully through kies air.
It took just 20 mins..with out any issues..
I can see Google now..media hub..new keyboard..mobile hot spot..new graphics for opening apps..camera settings..new notification tab with date, time, driving mode..etc..etc..
Now the testing starts..lets see if there is any improvement in battery life..

Its pissing me off how long these updates are taking. The giants ATT and Verizon are the last ones and Verizon has still yet to release them! What the hell! Its one of the best selling phones available and they just push it back. I hate Verizon -_-
