Especially with tencent involved
Tencent makes the most graphically impressive mobile games out there.
Only the ignorant thinks mobile games are just straight casual if you've ever seen tencents line up...

No one cares at this point. Samsung and qualcomm both use proprietary gpus. Only mediatek uses mali gpus now

Do people really care that much about graphics performance? I think mobile chipsets are plenty fast and would prefer if they really went into extreme power consumption decreasing. Imagine Snapdragon 888 chipset performance with 50% lower power consumption. This would be HUGE even if they then bump up performance for only 10% so people can't say performance wasn't improved at all.

Samsung will have ray tracing support in its next SOC with AMD GPU. Hope ARM/MediaTek can release this new Mali soon.
