iOS: will keep it's market share ~15%
Android: will dominate with 75% of share because of android market. Google will raise the quality and security of applications in app market. Android will be available on netbooks, laptops and tv's.
WP: will take 5% share with enterprise/business users. Microsoft will overtake Nokia. HTC, Samsung will continue to produce phones with WP.

The biggest problem with WP is lack of apps. That's the main thing really. Tomorrow sees the release of GTA Vice City on both Android and iOS. But where is the version for the WP? You guessed it! WP is miles behind .. :(

In q3 asha sells more than 6.5 million compare to 2.9 of wp

FF browser crashes most of d time on the desktop and takes eternity 2 load pages with or without add-ons enabled and they dnt even have a proper mobile browser as yet! It's much more likely to be another member of the minority report comprising MeeGo, SailFish, Tizen etc. If any OS really wants to usurp Android's crown, it's imperative 4 it 2 offer something revolutionary and drastically different than anything in existence 2day and none of the current candidates seem 2 fit d bill! That said, I'd love 2 see something really revolutionary n it may come from some relatively unknown players....

The prediction is false.i believe that firefox os will pass android in 2014.iam telling you people will switch to firefox os.since apps are developed in html5 and other open web APIs,it will have the highest number of apps and games.their are more people developing web apps than os native apps.firefox os will deliver outstanding perfomances and funtionality,because it has full control over the Gonk linux kernel.it will rule the earth very soon!

So they adjusted WP down from last forecast, and a lot down. Still looks to optimistic, I'm willing to bet that WP will not reach above 10%.

dhcp, 05 Dec 2012progress my assNOkia are true 2 their design philosophy and have remained so thru the ages! Regardless of the OS, their bricks (fones) weighed a ton more than a decade ago and they still weigh a ton n I don't see any change in the foreseeable future! The brick-weight is 1 of their trademarks, after all!

The fact that Android needs Quads and a Gig of ram to run smooth. I'll just wait for next year, 2013 might be a turning point only if Nokia or Microsoft listen to Idealistic consumers.

I completely disagree with this report. It is completely FAKE and do not show any real information. Android will be the king for next 4-5 years aprox, as big sales are mid and low level phones. iOS is going down due to lack of hardware in the future. Windowsphone is also not good OS. Moreover, Android is moving with google to tablet PC and in future to computers. If you see new windows8 pc soft, is same as Google Android, where the future is based on online features and services. Soon google android will be a computer PC software. As applications are already web-side most of them.

Nothing is comparable to WP. The old OS is sluggish and laggy compared to WP. Heck, it even makes Android and iOS look laggy! WP is the most buttery smooth OS out there. And WP8 improved greatly on that. You've obviously never used a WP7 device, and definitely not a WP8 device.
