Hopefully Samsung will implement Android 12L with One UI 4 Tab on the Tab S8 Series and the Z Fold 4.

I'm gonna be skeptic on this one seeing how poor their implementation was back then, even Microsoft botched it for Windows 10. I'll wait and see before jumping to conclusions.

This should make sense considering how big Android tablet and Chromebook laptop screen can be. I remembered Samsung made a 17.3" Android tablet before with the Galaxy View2. Also, this particular version of Android is also optimized for smartphones with dual screen or display as well. I'd so love to see how Microsoft and LG can utilize A12L for Surface Duo lineup and DualScreen case-compatible models respectively.

I feel this is the right step in the right direction, which was kept on hold by Google for long. With foldables on the rise and iPads (with better optimization) eating up Android tablets' sales, this is a good move. Though a few Android OEMs have created their Android skins optimized for tablets and even forced unoptimized apps to open in landscape mode instead of opening like a stretched-out version of a mobile app (Samsung Labs, for instance), something was missing. And this move will make using an Android tablet a wholesome experience.

I find all this really nice, as an Android tablet user. I wish they would also do something to make all Play Store apps compatible with Android TV.
