Samsung shipped the most phones but the market still saw a 6% decline.

Write whatever you want. Apple went up to second place this quarter because of the new iPhones. It will probably be back in third place next quarter. It doesn't "dominate" anything but
you can also dream that MacOS dominates the PC market if that makes you happy.

    What happened to Samsung, when the last time Samsung have sold so few phones in quarter. Looks like Apple got quite many Samsung switchers

Android ... moreJust because you sell bazillion junk phones and you use OS that's free to use and readily available doesn't make you "dominate the market". Apple predominantly sells expensive devices and has entirely in-house developed and maintained OS. The fact they are doing so well is an accomplishment. And it's not just "people who only care about the logo". I couldn't care less about that and I really like my iPhone. It could have Xiaomi, Samsung or HTC logo on it for all I care if it had features and quality it has. And I mostly care about software more where Apple simply dominates entirely with Samsung being second to it. If they weren't jerking around with stupid plastics all over the place on Galaxy S models I'd probably opt for that. But I haven't and won't for as long as they'll sticking crappy plastic on backs of 800€ phones.

        Here afterwards manufacture your phone like phone size (5.7 inch - 6.2 inch) don't manufacture like a brick size.
        Don't keep unnecessary quad camera or triple camera setup for rear camera. It's extra cost for customers only. Depth and macro camera are useless for nowadays use. Don't want depth and macro.
        Always use the best cpu like a53 or a55 or arm v9.

        Note : Don't want ram plus option in ONE UI 4 or beyond. If your thing your profit then customers will thing their profit and long term use phones in future ( like vivo, oppo).

            Samsung supports the existance of chinese oems, since they need parts from samsung to make their phones exists, this includung some parts in iphone. So yeah, the more people buy smartphone no matter which brands, there is some money going in to samsung's pocket.

IPhone's display resolution is just a little over 1080p and has peak brightness of 1200 nits. Whereas every android flagship have 1440p display with 1500 nits of peak brightness.

Heavier than any other smartphone. Sharp flat edges that are really comfortable to hold. Comes with lightning port and is impossible to repair. Android phones won't get these features in their upcoming generations.

                      Xiaomi being 1st in June was just a fluke. They are first because apple didn't launch new iPhone series and Samsung's supply chain had been disrupted due to covid-19 in Vietnam.

I buy some Apple products for the functionality and convenience. Historically Apple linked itself to education and now to media creators.
                        But that does not mean I know nothing about Android. I'm an avid Samsung droid user since the very first Galaxy Note, until now the Note 20 Ultra.

                                        SwiftKey is also superior on Android than on iOS. It's not even close to me. Android is superior. Since when does popularity equate to quality? Avatar made nearly $3B and it's a terrible movie. Just because Justin Bieber sells tons of records doesn't mean he's a legendary music artist.
