People simply don't want to be stuck on old IPhone XR.

XR is still super fast despite being 3 years old and not even flagship at the time of release. Runs latest iOS 15.1 with all features except those strictly specific to iPhone 13. How many phones from 2018 will receive Android 12 ? Good luck with that. And people using iPhones don't change them as fast as Android users seem to believe based on what they are doing. I basically replaced all Android phones I had after 2-3 years because they all stopped getting updates entirely and I hate that. Not so much with iPhone XR and since it's plenty fast I feel perfectly comfortable using it further. It behaves like brand new the day I bought it and it got even more features.

Imagine using Same old 60hz, poor Ultrawide, weak telephoto, handicapped tiny main camera, overheating with games or basic tasks like web browsing in the sun, slow 20W charging, software that gets embarrassed by budget Android phones.
Imagine such a nightmare in Dec 2025...
Sure it will get useless security update till 5 years... But how is it affecting the end user?? Is it actually helping them?? Nope.. Instead phone slows down because Apple chose to slow it down with every update.

In the time security update for android ended we already bought and upgrade phone. We are not like the iphone 6s user who brag about ability to keep their phone for millenium but complaint about its perfomance later. 😂

if you want completely different experience than what Xiaomi, Oppo, oneplus etc. offers? Why even compare those, all others run Android. People who buy iPhone want to have iOS experience.
