I think it's because they want to charge different prices in different markets and they have different price points for different brands and models in different countries. Xiaomi for example sells the Chinese Redmi note 9 pro under the Xiaomi brand in India because the price they were charging on launch was a little too expensive for a Redmi note phone

Samsung is laggy compared to Xiaomi.
For US$200-500, we don't really care about Amoled vs LCD.
We care about SOC, RAM, storage & battery size.
In fact, we prefer IPS LCD compared to Amoled because Amoled will expired in 2-3 years (burn in)

Rip Redmi's budget amoled offerings. Only Samsung can provide amoled in budget smartphones starting from j5 in 2015 to m21 2021 in 2021 at less than 13k INR

I'm having a hard time understanding this paragraph. What is the matter of keeping the same name across the whole world? It's not only Xiaomi that do this, even Huawei and Oppo alongside Vivo do the same thing. The only Chinese brand that I see who don't do this kind of thing is OnePlus.
