What market? It is absolute joke. It definitely cannot beat Mi 11 Ultra, so this is just pointless way to cash grab from Sony. It is disasteious attempt. It will be forgotten soon anyway. No one will be stupid enough to buy this monstrosity for that price.

Even if it isn't... the issues are ironed out quickly unlike Sony who still can't get their camera software right after all these years.

A couple of the older Sony ones had the sudden mother board death issue that used to be severely wide spread for years with them though and is only working after a replacement by myself. Cause Sony refused to acknowledge the issue. And Aldi refused to repair even for a cost.

... moreJust because I'm using a Samsung doesn't mean that I am a blind fan. Right now I like Sony more because it has the SD card slot and the 3.5mm jack.
Nobody else has these 2 features on a high-end flagship phone except for them.
I ditched Sony when they quit on the 3.5mm jack for Samsung. I guess now I'm forced to go back to Sony because I need an upgrade. Still using S8+. I don't switch phones like socks. I use them until the point I feel they're obsolete or there's something wrong with the hardware 😂
PS: I have never praised Samsung for innovation. I only praise brands that offer on their models the following:
- best CPU on the market preferably from Qualcomm
- SD card slot
- 3.5mm jack
- OLED/AMOLED
- waterproof
- and most importantly, unlocked bootloader

But that doesn't mean that the Pro I isn't a great phone. I've had Sony before and lasted me 7 years without problems (it still works btw). I only wished my Samsung was so sturdy. My display is broken and pixels started dieing, forming a small black circle.

I am really impressed with this new phone. Sony has the right idea, which is that the innovations in hardware, software and computing on the mobile side should be paired or combined with the professional camera hardware, computing and software. It makes both mobile and interchangeable lens photography better, because innovation has occurred in each silo. Some manufacturers remain in a silo, ignoring or at least not taking advantage of these advancements on the mobile side or vice versa. So I am excited about this new device.
