I gifted someone cheap Mi phone and he threw that away to buy a feature phone as even picking up call was not working in miui properly.

So not worth it..
Plan 1-
Buy for INR1999 and pay 450/month for 1.5gb/day for 24 months+ processing fee= 1999+(450*24)+501= INR 13300
Plan 2-
Buy for 6499 and purchase prepaid yearly plan of 2121(336 days) +199(28 days), then you're paying 6499+(2*2121)+(2*199)=6499+4242+398=INR 11,139
So if you purchase upfront and buy yearly plans, you're saving INR 2161. So the installment plan is useless. If you're planning to buy, buy it upfront and take prepaid plans. Don't go for the installment plans from Jio. Hope it helps your buying decision.

Just put 3 times the cost of the jio phone and get Samsung M51
This is the logic.
Even beggars will not buy the new jio phone.

many brands already present in this price range with better specs n quality. Only thing better about this phone is Google. And most target users of this phone don't know anything about what Google can bring in this phone so why would they care. Only the installment party sounds catchy which i guess local online retailers do provide sometimes during sale.
