AnonD-1024704, 30 Oct 2021but still no google play and half baked ecosystem? still n... moreIt's Google that limits their Google apps to its own locked system, unlike any other Android apps. Besides once Google apps are baked into the system as Google requires, they are un-uninstallable on user's will. The machine becomes the host for Google.

Huawei has more extensive and complete ecosystem than other companies - from smartphones to tablets, watches, earphones, headphones, PCs, routers, speakers, smart screens, monitors, gaming products, printer etc. to use together. Software- and service-wise, Huawei native apps do all the basic functionality - from app distribution to browser,
weather, maps, cloud, email, themes, music, video, books, keyboard, search, calendar and many.

Few smartphone companies apart from Huawei and Google use their own cloud servers. Apple uses Google servers for its cloud service. Samsung uses Microsoft OneDrive.

I suppose this UK retailer offers such a low prices during trade in process. Looks to me that Samsung/Apple phones have 10-20% higher prices on eBay/Ukraine local market in comparison to numbers from article. At least for Samsung Galaxy S10/S20 of all modifications and recent Apples. BTW probably absolute winners in depreciation race are "flagship killers" from 2nd echelon companies like Xiaomi/Poco. Poco F2 Pro still costs ~$250 in Ukraine after 1.5 year when it was released at ~$350 price point

That's why the paid Apple shills, like DxOMark attack only Samsung and praise anybody else because Samsung is the true competitor to Apple! In reality, all phones are better than Apple!

Even 150$ phones come with high refresh rate display and plenty of Android phones around 400$-500$ with great 120hz Amoled panels. No excuse for iPhone keeping 60hz in 2021 flagship

Most of the time, I don't need to add more than 300$-400$ when buying a new phone as half the value gets covered by selling the previous flagship phone.

It's not LIKE these phones invent the WHEEL every year. The improvements are so negligible.

Sorry, I'm just barely waking up. Need coffee.

iPhones are generally all the same. Android smartphones offer variety and better prices. I prefer the latter. The higher depreciation means people can buy an Android flagship a year later and save two-thirds from original retail.

As someone who prefers Android, that's great for a bargain hunter like me. Just wait a year to buy last year's flagship for only $300 or less. Imagine next year, you can get a $200 Pixel 6? It's not these phones invent the year every year. The improvements are so negligible.

The smoothness simply isn't there like its on the iPad. Poor optimization of iOS continues.
