RishiGuru, 03 Nov 2021I agree on the worldwide availability concerns for Realme, ... moreWell i agree with you on that.
W charcher is just not enough realme is better this way.

RishiGuru, 03 Nov 2021I agree with you. HMD produced some quality products whe... moreI agree. From advertising "tank build with 6000 series aluminium" on Nokia 6/8/7 Plus/6.1, they have have come a long way down the slope with cheap parts, weird pricing, poor optimization, and what not.
I thought it might reduce its velocity of downfall after that CPO left for Qualcomm, but it seems they like downwhill adventure now.
Frankly, I'd prefer HMD to forget Nokia and let it rest in peace as a legendary brand, instead of maligning its name with low specced, cheap quality products.
If they want, they should release phones under their own branding. But they'll lose their only selling point, then.

SShreyas, 03 Nov 2021I called that guy a fool, and here I have another living ex... moreI agree with you.

HMD produced some quality products when they entered the market in 2017 and 2018 maybe their best year with Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 6.1. From 2019 onwards it has been a downhill slope after loosing mighty Foxconn as their OEM partner due to poor sales and profits.

HMD made Nokia's are a laughing stock in our country with poorly optimized barebones vanilla stock Android. Gone are the GOD awesome all metal built quality & design of Nokia 7 Plus & Nokia 6.1 and now we have plastic phones with Nokia branding which comes with lower specs and a higher price than Chinese brands.

HMD made Nokia smartphones are slowly dying and this the reason why they are going to different markets like making rebranded Chinese laptops and TVs. Maybe they will come with rebranded Chinese refrigerator next year!

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2021You do know Nokia got their EcoVadis Gold certification rig... moreP.S: Before you start ranting for proofs from me instead of providing some to support your baseless claims, here are they:
          https://nokiamob.net/2021/01/17/large-number-of-modern-phones-including-nokia-are-designed-by-odm-companies/

Guess what? The source is a dedicated Nokia website itself.

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2021You do know Nokia got their EcoVadis Gold certification rig... moreI called that guy a fool, and here I have another living example who is unable to differentiate between Nokia and trasHMD. Nevertheless, let me get your concepts cleared.
88% of devices sold by trasHMD are made by the same "cheap, Chinese flagship companies which get their raw materials from war torn countries, overwork their labourers and illegally employ children to force them into child labour".

BTW, do you have nay proof to support your claim or you're one of those 2-cent conspiracy theorist employed against Chinese firm by "The Bully"?

"Let us who still have some humanities left support Nokia with their Ecovadis Gold Standard"
I don't have any problems with dimwits supporting a sub standard brand producing only sub standard, "cheap premium" products, *as long as they don't try to fool others in the name of a long dead brand*

AnonD-731363, 02 Nov 2021Well it could be butvompared to Nokia realme isnt a brand w... moreI agree on the worldwide availability concerns for Realme, even though they are widely available in Asia & Europe as of now. What is unforgeable is Nokia bundles a slow 10 watts charger for the T20 tablet with humongous 8200 mAh battery. It does not make any sense.

Realme Pad is much thinner device with respectable 7100 mAh battery, but at least comes with 18 watts charger. I bought the 4/64 GB variant of Realme Pad with Wifi+ LTE at ₹13.68K ($183, 158 euros) during the month long sale currently going on in our country. I think at that price Realme is worth the buy.

SShreyas, 03 Nov 2021"a bit of some premium" You are joking, right? P... moreYou do know Nokia got their EcoVadis Gold certification right?
Now tell me which of your cheap Chinese flagship companies got that certification?
You do know that all those bargain cheap flagships prices are subsidised?
                By who you ask?
Those factory workers who are overworked but paid peanuts.. Some of them were even child labors used illegally..
Those cheap materials got from war-torn conflicted countries..
And lastly the environment destruction also pays for your cheap phones.. You think sustainable waste management is cheap?
These companies can produce cheap phones because they skimp on these standards..
Continue to support them if you are not concerned with child workers, overworked labors, pollution to the environment etc.
Let us who still have some humanities left support Nokia with their Ecovadis Gold Standard

You are joking, right? Paying €600 for a trash like 8.3 5G (which had eMMC storage, SD 765, sub-standard camera, LCD display) was a "bit of some premium"?
There's a proverb: A fool and his money are soon parted
And guess what? I got a living example to prove the above proverb.
