Anonymous, 02 Nov 2021It has 27W. This is because Apple wants 27. If Apple want... moreFast charging is bad for batteries that aren't meant to be charged that fast.
Fast charging is only bad if heat isn't controlled like on Sony phones where phone goes above 50°C on weak 30W charging (slower than S21 Ultra 25W charging).
That hear stays for 2hrs. Batterycare gimmick from Sony has already been exposed

Either ways it's outdated for flagship standards.

Dedicated always on capacity fingerprint sensors are extremely accurate, extremely fast and still work if it's dark, you're wearing a mask, etc. Best placement is in the power button since it's out of the way.

My biggest gripes with iOS are no UI customization, no third party browser engines (Safari is trash, don't know how iOS users live with it), getting apps from outside of the App Store is a f-ing mess, the file browser is like intentionally useless. These things would normally make iOS a hard deal breaker for me, but the Android small tablet situation finally broke me. For the record, I don't hate Apple, but I don't hold them in any higher regard than any other manufacturer either.

Looks like you either have never used an Android phone, or you do not know how to. So many Android phones take only a little touch on the fingerprint to unlock it unlike Apple where it need to first wake up the phone with a button press and then look at the screen in perfect alignment in order to unlock. Android can be unlocked while being away from the face, or while phone is upside down or side whatever. It takes just a tap on the sensor but with iPhone one has to literally bring them directly on front on the face to unlock. Can't imagine holding up the entire thing in front of me every time to unlock it. With Android it takes just a finger tap and it's done

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2021Optimized apps?? Lol gsmarena never mentioned it as a con. ... moreWhat i meant is 3rd party apps supports. iPad apps are very optimized for their own OS. Android isn't since very few OEM that cared about their Android tablet lineup due to its poor sales, not to mention Android is open sourced, which allows OEMs to add stuff to their products, making Android devices as an OS, to be very fragmented.

Lmao yeah, this also one of my grudges to Android tablets. I mean Apple could offers tablets with hi-res screen, long term supported OS thanks to their recent to couple years old flagship grade SoC that still decent at sub $500, something that rarely happened on Android tablets.

As someone who got benefited from digital pens, the only thing that Android tablets win imo is Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup with their S-Pen, which uses powerless and reliable Wacom EMR pen protocol (S-Pen), so my go to choice for under the 10.3" iPad price range is definitely one of those Galaxy Tabs that supports S-Pen, e.g. Galaxy Tab A series, not to mention they included it in box.

Android is pretty open as far as what you can and can't do on your device. I think hardware is more subjective since the hardware just runs the OS. Personally I could never use an iPhone and I wouldn't have the new iPad Mini if there was any remotely comparable small tablet running Android.

You have a handful of companies making high end tablets and a bunch of crap tablets. Very few choices in between. Personally, I hate iOS, but I recently bought an iPad Mini 6 because there are no good small Android tablets. The last one I bought was in 2017 and almost all of them have the exact same performance and RAM configuration as my 2017 tablet in 2021. Huawei is the only one to make anything decent in this space since then and that was 2 years ago.
