          I'm reallydisappointed on how Xiaomi is handling the redmi note 9 pro global version. Still no 12.5 update for global users.

          Funny enough, the last security patch for my RNP global was july 2021.more than 3 months and still no security update which is clearly a let down.

                Isn't "13" an unlucky number in china? And that was the reason they named the current MIUI "12.5". I'm so confused!

I bought my Poco F3 back in July and I was very disappointed with the software. It was extremely buggy and glitchy. But when the MIUI 12.5 Update arrived, it changed everything. I am getting at least an extra hour of screen-on time and I haven't come across any bugs. It's also completely ad-free. So yea MIUI has been pretty bad recently but I believe that Xiaomi turned things around with MIUI 12.5.

                            One UI is better. And don't tell me a lie that it is slow or laggy. It isn't TouchWiz.

                              [deleted post]Well my friend either you've never used miui or you've never used a phone with proper software lately. I don't know about the high end Xiaomi phones, but in the midrange segment the software is a disaster. I'm facing more bugs with my current redmi phone with 6go of ram than my 4 year old Samsung tablet with 2go of ram and experience ui (yup, that old). Not to mention how terrible the battery management is.

                                  If your phone has a battery problem, this does not mean that all phones have the same problem. There are many reasons. It is possible through the applications on your phone that are draining the battery.

Basically, no physical proximity sensor with infrared to all mi and redmi devices that was release in 2021. What a joke. They switch to "ultrasonic" proximity to trim the bezel which is the biggest joke.
