How is the power draw? Being a milliseconds faster would not interest me if it was power hungry and battery only lasted over a half day.

Who still cares about clock speeds? More important things are heat dissipation (phone doesn't get hot during heavy use) and efficiency (longer battery life).

If person really likes games, should buy simpler phone + tablet instead of flagship phone.

I'm not a power user but I regularly switch through social media apps such as Instagram and Snapchat as well as messaging apps like Telegram and Discord, I watch a lot of videos on it and even do some light gaming, yet I don't need to charge my phone until when I'm right about to go to sleep most days. I'm not sure what your experience with OnePlus has been like, but I'd love to know what apps you use to make the battery life on whatever phones you use to be so bad.

i don't use my phone like a feature phone, i use it for work/study/personal reasons. so yes i am a heavy user but still i know there are plenty of people like me, that deserve a good android phone.

My main phone is a OnePlus 7T and even 2 years later I still can regularly get 9 hours of SoT and it doesn't get warm at all unless I use snapchat for like 3 hours straight, I think you've just been getting the wrong phones
