Google allows third-party payment systems outside of the Play Store in Korea with a discount

      Google is creepy.
      This goign to end same way like with Apple in certain regions.
      None will pay more for same product.

You should try to see after the smoke screens, there is literally no excuse to defend a corporation which is owned by rich people that work maybe 10 hours per week and steal the wages of people for them.

                  Google taking the Mickey. Korean regulators should stamp down hard on them. I know this is roughly the result of the Epic v Apple court case, but that judgment seems wrong and may be appealed, and this is South Korea, not the US.
