Apple already testing a 120Hz display for its next iPad mini

    This is why I kept my ipad mini 5 because the 6 wasn't enough for me to upgrade. I'm hoping Apple will bring some display upgrades to the mini. Love the size of the thing but just taking away the bezels wasn't enough for me spend over $400 for the design change. Yes, I know about the pencil 2 support, dual speakers and better cameras none of which will change the way I use my ipad. Give a better display with face ID, then we can have a conversation.

There was a lot of pent up demand for a small tablet with decent performance. Personally, I'm not a fan of iOS at all, but this was the only option since 2019. The Huawei tablets released in 2019 are good too, but I have a lot of hesitation about buying a 2 year old Huawei tablet atm. All other new 8" tablets have roughly the same specs as the then mid-range tablet I bought in 2017.

          Would be better if they use oled or miniled for next gen

            I haven't noticed any bit of jellyscroll on my iPad Mini 6, but I haven't gone intentionally looking for it either. I would have to have had the 120Hz display (even though I don't care about HRR personally). It's just that the iPad Mini 6 is already ridiculously overpriced so HRR would have made it a little easier to justify the cost.

                iPad mini6: 499$
                iPad mini7: 599$ probably

                  Apple accepts current iPad Mini is FAULTY PRODUCT.
                  and will replace it next year.
                  BUT
                  they WONT SAY THIS PUBLICLY.
