Hi all!
To LG users with already updated phones!
Did you find any differences in calls, wi-fi,
battery, screen, processor, RAM, camera, sound,
performance at all, etc....?
I mean any custom ICS/JB -> official ICS
and official GB -> official ICS also.
Could you share your opinion what is is better/worst?

for me i have no problem with myvlg phones ever since...
i love my chocolate bl 20 i love my optimus 2x. i love my optimus g.
lg the best for me...

Finally after so much frustration and cursing to LG. I hope ICS will be properly implemented, unlike the crappy LG Gingerbread.

AnonD-80584, 07 Dec 2012functionality is one thing, but quality of deliverance and ... morelike i said, i've tried the update for a few days already, it works fine.... also, with this update, with no major damages happening to my phone, there is no need to update my phone for the time being.... if u wanna compare with iPhones, which is way way overpriced, i can get a Nexus with prompt updates which only cost half an iPhone! and if u were talking about Apple's updates, how many still uses their 3GS? and those who's still using it really know how to use the phone?

LG drop the ball BIG time on this one. Waiting year and a half for the ICS update is pretty much no acceptable for what once was their flagship device and first dual core. Instead of focusing on their prime devices they only focus on making more devices. No wonder iPhone is an almost perfect machine. Android It's far better than iOS that's for sure. But LG, HTC, Samsung, Sony really should be up to the game on time. LG updating to 4.0 is kinda of a joke when 4.2 is just around the corner. I think if I want an up-to-date device has to be a nexus or even galaxy S3 (S4 and next gen's). Down side of the nexus devices at least for me are 2 things: no external sd card, and those obnoxious key buttons on screen (c'mon don't take away the precious screen real estate)

firstly, 4.0 is not a great OS version at ALL.
secondly, the optimus 4x HD is quad core and has MANY MANY complaints running 4.0 so i can imagine how terribly this will perform with dual core.
and finally, this is the last update 2x will likely get.. which again is terrible news.

AnonD-80584, 07 Dec 2012ahahahah are you serious? this is a joke right? the word &q... moreyup, it is slow and diff brand provides diff updates but guess what, my old GB can do most of the things iOS 6 can do, if not more. then with this update, even if it is only 4.0.4, it beats iOS6 in functionality! so, well, with this update, there is no need to upgrade my phone anymore.... ^_^

I have the SU660 (Korean cousin of P990), even after 2 years, it can keep up with the main stream dual core phones nowaday (like Galaxy S advance, Xperias, Desire). I updated it to ICS last month and o/c to 1.5ghz, other than the ram, it's a great phone that can keep for another couple years.
