It's mostly an exercise in futility. Plus, Depth of Field compromises corner sharpness, beyond a limit. Cinematically its nice, but for only a few situations. For most cases, though, it's just bad news. especially if smartphones can do the same with simple Computational Photography

      I d rather believe a professional videographers comment, with actual recorded video, on quality difference among these phones cameras you mention, than the usual forum anon who knows squats about making and quality of pro videos.
      Its only logical.

        I wish i could afford this phone. Fantastic piece of technology.

        4K display, headphone jack, expandable storage, A display that can function like a monitor with hdmi in. You could probably connect your Playstation to this via HDMI and use it like a display.

F number is simply the ratio of the lens focal length to the diameter of the entrance pupil. You get different depth of view at the same F number for different sensor sizes because the larger sensor has to use lenses with longer focal lengths.
