This trend of phone companies removing useful features and calling it progress has to stop. People should vote with their wallets and not buy.

Why flagships have minimal bottom bezel is because they can fold the connector onto itself which eliminates bezels but it is expensive. It is difficult for mid rangers to achieve this without significant price hike

Bought A52 and no regret. Works great. A53 will be almost the same phone without headphone jack.

This is such a dissapointment. I thought they will follow s22 series and make a phone with symmetrical but thicker bezels, keep the headphone jack and all goods that come with it but no. I don't see a reason why would anyone downgrade to this...

Why android phones especially smasung has to give it a big bottom bezels while the rest is thin all around. Only oneplus with the 9 pro gives it equal top and and bottom bezels. I do hate these kinda trends. Also apple not including the notch have uniformed bezels all around. I don't like this at all. It looks ugly

Heck the S22 ULTRA would be an instant buy 4me if it gets a 3,5mm jack. I mean it is big --> productivity
S pen --> productivity
Ayways Soc, cameras etc etc --> productivity.
3,5mm jack --> PRODUCTIVITY!!! No jack no buy. Bye

If they can't make chin any narrower then make to bezel equal to it and place a good quality speaker that can distribute atleast 40% sound in stereo speaker

This is extremely disappointing news. I will still wait until release, but if this is true, I will just stop buying Samsung phones altogether and find a competitor that includes a headphone jack. I used to buy the S-series flagships until they removed the expandable storage and headphone jack, but I will also stop buying the A series if this is true. If the phone does not have a headphone jack or expandable storage, I will not buy it. No exceptions. It is less convenient to carry a dongle around, especially one that can charge and route audio through at the same time. Also, the expandable storage is helpful in case your phone has a HW failure, and your card is unencrypted, you still have all your files on the sd card. Or, you can expand your storage without paying a fortune or relying on cloud services (which I do not).
If Samsung is doing this to try and boost their wireless earbud sales, do they realize that people who buy mid-range devices are probably not going to spend 100's of dollars on Samsung's flagship earbuds, but rather buy an older device or choose a competitor? There are many, many good options out there (such as Anker's earbuds) (Research yourself on R-tings) that won't burn a hole in your wallet.
Anyone here have a mid-ranger and Samsung's earbuds? I don't.

Bottom side sim tray like vivo , that means no sd card too.
I was waiting for them to make a better m53 but doesn't look like it .
