Weak processor and very small storage.Microsoft should have used Pentium or core i3. Celeron is really underwhelming for the price and should have provided at least 512GB storage.

Also consider that not all potential users have good internet. Especially at home. So with a machine like this the pupil could potentially be able to do more homework offline (or with a very thin connection) than they could on a chromebook set offline.

Stripping down Windows is the big mistake here, the point why Chrome OS works good is because it was made the way it is, Google did not make a OS and strip down functionality from it later on.
Regular Windows will still be the best option compared to this, as for light OS systems, most Chromebooks in my country are 1080p IPS for that money, not to mention that because of how Chrome OS works, 64gb of storage is plenty, while with Windows that becomes a issue (especially because eMMC is not upgradable)
Even worse, a regular Windows notebook with better screen, specs, upgradable storage and full size Windows 10/11 is not that much more expensive than this thing here...

AnonD-1003792, 10 Nov 2021I highly doubt anyone should buy the 4GB RAM variant. Its for use in school and not for gaming. 4GB is ok depending on what you are doing.
As long as you dont use Chrome.
