Most people here have not seen arc s with its latest update to fix bugs. Put your S2 beside my arc S sure your S2 will look like an overrated plastic garbage with many cores running basic features. Right now arc S is 20% cheaper than S2. See arc S with ICS and S2 with ICS, No match. Even if S2 be recieving JB, Samsung touch wiz Ui/Ux has only basic features it will not make big difference in ICS to JB with your S2.
Thats the truth. Oh boy I love this game.

Funny how people keep ranting about no jb update to arc/arc s where handsets like galaxy r,w and many of htc's powerful 2011 handsets(which btw were too many to remember) haven't seen any updates whatsoever.
Galaxy r with a gig of ram n a dual core t2 cpu was second in line specswise for samsung after gs2 in 2011 has become a ghost.no dedicated official webpage for it even when it was fairly new.same goes with many 2011 htc phones.all of these r equally to be blamed.

Actually this year sony's condition is much better than that of htc's or LG as opposed to previous year.and seeing that htc doesn't really go the budget way and samsung who has slightly shifted it's focus away from budget n midrangers and more on higher end ones,it gives sony a chance to make the budget n midrange market it's stronghold.
Though sony's flagships of this year have not been as good as of htc's n samsung's but their midrangers have certainly been better and probably that has driven sony's sales this year.

Pffft you own an Arc S and already complaining about the lack of support?HELLO wake up there are other users out there who still owns an Xperia X8/X10 from the 2010 lineup with Android 2.1 how do you think they feel?
Be happy that your getting atleast ICS.Not happy?Dont whine like a 5 year old saying "sony didnt support your device" where actually they did.

Anonym, 10 Dec 2012"Shooting star" is a star which is rapidly fallin... moreFalling? I don't think so. I've read many news that Sony climbs 2nd in Android (Sammy being first) in many countries. Just because your Arc S will not be updated to JB, you can have a conclusion that Sony's falling? Move on dude! Try other OEM's, Sony might fall if you switch. LOL

AnonD-43357, 10 Dec 2012i think they are going to copy samsung's strategy 1 to 1. t... moreMy opinion differs from yours. IMO, this low-end device are for the people who wanted to try Android from WP8 or iOS users. If those users will like android, then they might upgrade their phone to a flagship device. But if not, they'll go back to WP8 or iOS. Samsung, hTC and LG have not yet released/announced and entry level device that has JB out of the box. Android needs Sony to attract people who wanted to switch.
Its like a person who wants to learn how to drive. The person would probably first practice to an older car before buying Lamburghini, Ferrari, Benz, etc. ;D
