Don't really care about peak benchmark scores, what's more important is power efficiency (battery life) and thermal performance (doesn't heat up on heavy load and throttle).
If that extra performance is caused by overclocking which causes excessive heat dissipation, I don't want it.

In terms of endurance or stamina if you like when running on long sesions any SD8XX preforms a lot better and on average can achieve better results when running continuosly for several hours even days.

Try using quality premium copper cooling chambers, then you will see no throttling even temperature at 46 degrees, dice the double insulation off coppers double chambers used, like intel i7 needs copper cooling
Common sense use it, don’t blame snapdragon or Arm A78 x1 cores for that just because those muppets used cheap components

Mali isn't the problem. The problem is how Samsung uses Mali since 10 years : with heavy thermal throttling !
Games run better on Dimensity 1200 with G77mp9 than on Exynos with G78mp14 or even G78mp20 (considering Tensor is mostly an Exynos with a customised NPU).
The key for Samsung is thermal stability! Without stability, RDNA will bring...nothing!

I agree that Snapdragon SOCs are less power efficient than Apple's SOCs but that remains to be seen with the new Exynos 2200. It's more interesting to see how AMD's RDNA 2 will perform in such a power constraint scenario. Can't wait!

And Apple single handledly created most recognizable feature. You can call it stupid or not, new Macbook Pro's have one of thinest bezels, better camera and you can have 1000 laptops and you'll know which is which because of the notch. Which btw interferes with apps very rarely because of how MacOS is designed. It could come without Apple logo and everyone would know it's a Mac.

"peak performance" implies thermic buildupvsurpassing the capacity of heat removal (cooling), which ultimately leads to throttling.
It seems that Snapdragon SoCs are and probably will stay inferior to Apple Silicon in terms of power efficiency for the time being.

we still have 2 problems in samsung designed SoC :
1. Samsung maf inferior to TSMC
2. Samsung always have inferior design and power issue compared to other chipset on their SOC, the performance/efficiency is way of below average compared to competitor
thus even with rdna not sure it will win outside the benchmark first 5 minutes, don't forget considering rdna is a new arc in mobile this means additional things
3. Implementation rdna itself in a mobile chip which when badly design add more problem especially performance/efficiency considering coming from a console and a pc level computing(remember intel atom?)

Guys don't forget to the sustained performance for Exynos 2100 was really bad. It only managed 60% in hour long stress tests.
Snapdragon counterpart managed around 70%-75%.
So when they say sustained performance will improve by 17%-20%... It simply means that the sustained performance will finally match Snapdragon at around 70% which isn't great considering the fact that Snapdragon 888 had issues with sustained performance on its own.
