the only useful performance leap is for Yuzu emulation, 99% of android games are overpriced pay to win with no story ps3 games

That's why Exynos has yield issues and it will only ship in Europe and South Korea.

people out here be like who cares abt 2200 vs 2100 or 2200 vs 888 and are nagging about 2200 vs 898 are expecting actually what?
Guys even if Samsung reliably only manages to beat 888 then too it's a win for them. That level of performance with improved sustainance is good enough. Good enough for most users and even pixel phones and other customers. overall you are getting a in house chip with shedding away the gpu weakness, improved battery saving, improved cpu performance. What else would Samsung want as part of vertical integration. They get to use their own chips more confidently in their phones is ultimately a win for them. And a loss for SD.

Biggest load of BS in a long time. Exynos is trash and this chip won't be any different. After 5 minutes it will throttle like crazy. Snapdragon will be way faster and better again..

That's honestly not as huge an uptick as I expected, given the hype surrounding the AMD-codeveloped soc. Let's hope that the products it finds itself in have decent cooling, as sustained performance is the only way for Android soc's to maintain an edge over Apple products.
