I hope Samsung doesn't underclock it like the Snapdragon 888, instead they should focus on putting adequate cooling to keep the processor cool.

Snapdragon doesn't support 4K natively (till recently) sony did that with additional display drivers.. Mediatek did MEMC(Miravision), VoLTE & ViLTE Way before snap did it. The most greedy, incompetent company in the android world. Even im not holding any high hopes after acquisition of nuvia.

Each time the Geekbench is upgraded, the performance of the Arm processors goes down but only of the Android ones, because the iOS ones and the Windows desktop and laptop ones continues the same even increase when the processors are superiors to the antecessors. I don't get why it happens.

Listen, I'm NOT telling people what to buy. If you like Mediatek, get it. I've owned phones with Mediatek while living in the Philippines and they're trash. But don't exaggerate things like Snapdragons heats up like some oven. It's not even close to the real experience. My LG G5 with SD820 gets warmer than my Flip 3 with 888.
When it comes emulation, if you want to fly coach, fly coach. Be in economy class to save some money. I'll fly first class with this inferno of a chipset you keep harping about that's so far from the truth.

Snapdragon 888 was able to run Genshin Impact at a higher frame rate than A14 that the iPhone 12 has. Close to 60 fps while A14 was closer to 50.

"It's not that emulators are optimized for Snapdragon with the Adreno GPU, but it's because other processors like Exynos, Mediatek, Kirin, etc. use a Mali GPU which is physically missing features and APIs within the GPU itself that are needed for higher end emulation. Mali devices do alright to a certain point, but higher end stuff, there will be performance issues"

All this misinformed hate on Snapdragon 888 on here because Qualcomm chips are expensive and overheat. It's the price you pay for more POWER. Of course it will get warm or hot. Mine actually doesn't get hot at all. But it will throttle if the temperature outside gets hot. But SD888 is the only chip that can run all my GameCube ROMs well. Like 95% smoothly. Sometimes it's the emulator itself causing issues.
